In your fellowship with God, you must give Him full, undivided attention. It’s a simple reality that some are yet to learn; they’re carried away and distracted by the cares of this world, worried over the things happening around them instead of acting on the Word.
My son, give me thine heart, and let thine eyes observe my ways(Proverbs23:26).
You must look away from the seeming discomfort, pain, trouble, pressures and adversities of the moment, unto Him. He’s the answer you need. He’s the solution you seek. He’s the way out of every trouble. He’s your light in the midst of the darkness; therefore, focus on Him. Meditate on His Word. Spend time in fellowship with Him, loving Him and pouring out your heart to Him in reverential worship. Refuse to whine or gripe over anything. Your situation isn’t going to change if you worry from now till the end of the age. Rather, cast those cares and worries on Him, and stay in the Word.
“Looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith….” (Hebrews 12:2)
To look unto Him is to give Him your attention; to look away from everything else, unto Him.
